At its core, FitForward is a project led by the youth, for the youth. Built on the belief that good health should not be a privilege, the project looks to begin by understanding students’ existing habits, challenges, and perceptions around fitness and food, so that this insight can serve as a foundation in developing further interventions.
Continuing from this, through a mix of youth-centric content, fundraising, and on-ground collaboration, FitForward hopes to encourage healthier routines that feel achievable by bringing together simple learning tools such as a student-informed recipe book, a shared training space with basic equipment, introductory fitness sessions, and conversations with experts. The ultimate goal being to make wellbeing feel approachable and worth carrying; as our name suggests - forward.
